The Nutcracker is a two act ballet by Tchaikovsky, adapted from E.T.A Hoffman's story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. The tale contains a long flashback story which explains how the Prince was turned into the Nutcracker.
La Classiique was founded in 1990 utilising dancers from the leading theatres and the Bolshoi, Kirov and ballet theatres of Kiev, Odessa.
